PRISSAM’s glass art gifts inspire, motivate, celebrate, honor, support and provide hope to all the gift recipients. Having a different perspective can change everything; can change everyone, and can change every way you look at life. It’s about keeping the pluses positive; changing the minuses into pluses, turning the obstacles into opportunities and the plain glass into a prism.

The Story

You get that dreaded phone call from a friend, a family member, a neighbor or a colleague who says, “I have cancer” and your immediate reaction is ‘Oh, No.’ Your mind races to say, ‘what can I do?’ when it really thinks, ‘what do I say?’ Well, that phone call came from a friend 1700 miles away. I felt powerless to do anything or even say anything that would provide comfort, support, inspiration and motivation. I searched for that something which would let her know I was there, even when I wasn’t, but nothing seemed to fit. So, PRISSAM created it! The ‘emotional healing’ from our PERSPECTIVE Collection’s exclusively designed gift helps a person through treatment, and gives hope to the survivor. It’s all about perspective. 

This ‘perspective prism’ then gave PRISSAM another facet in which to create unique gifts celebrating all occasions.  Our INSPIRATION Collection celebrates, encourages, builds vision, and creates a muse that needs no words - it just inspires.

As PRISSAM continues to grow so does our collections.  The DIAMOND & HEART Collection, along with PRISSAM’s PRISMS, offers smaller gift ideas with the same BIG message.  

In listening to our customers’ stories and their requests to have custom-designed gifts for specific school events (i.e.: fundraising activities, awards, student or teacher recognition, graduation and teacher retirement), the SCHOOL SPIRIT Collection was created.  It reflects and captures the true essence of school spirit. First, we designed the ‘Delta Lightcatcher’ for the 2009 graduate.  Because the piece has been well-received, we have expanded the design by using a school’s name, club name, logo and/or mascot.  Three additional shapes are now available.  This is perfect for fundraising, as we offer quantity discounts.  The SCHOOL SPIRIT Collection also includes selections from the INSPIRATION Collection.  These personal gifts use school colors as the base gems, along with the unique and handcrafted Inukshuks, crystal mountains or glass world centerpieces.   Whatever the occasion, a selection from any of these collections will make a long-lasting, memorable gift for that amazing person.

PRISSAM's co-founders are daughters of a WWII veteran. It was with pride that PRISSAM launched the MILITARY SALUTE Collection to honor all American Heroes. We are reminded  "how important it is for us to recognize and celebrate our heroes and she-roes!" ~ Maya Angelou

 a family-owned company founded by three amazing sisters on the philosophy that a unique perspective is FOR amazing people FROM amazing people, and
 Priscilla and Sam, our parents, who taught us to look at life in a different perspective.

Welcome to PRISSAM™ llc! Founded by three sisters, best friends & now business partners, this internet-based gift company is touching lives everywhere. Our art gifts and its symbolism are exclusively designed by PRISSAM. You will not find our gifts in stores. Instead, you will find them on our website or, if you’re lucky, at various Colorado events & venues throughout the year. Globally, gifts from the PRISSAM Collections are in homes and offices of our customers and gift recipients!  


THE MEANING BEHIND THE NAME
PRISSAM is named for our parents, Priscilla & Sam, who taught us to look at life in a different perspective. They are forever in our hearts.

PRISSAM is derived from the word “prism’ meaning a medium for dispersing light and/or reflecting change; whatever is seen through it; a ‘chi’ energy, and a unique perspective. 

PRISSAM is about keeping the pluses positive; changing the minuses into pluses; turning the obstacles into opportunities and the plain glass into a prism.

Because you never see the same thing twice when looking through a prism, prisms represent our company. “Like a prism, each day is a different perspective.”
